The Associazione is the highest associative body between the two Countries, which is chaired by Hon. Sandro Gozi who is also the President of Italy-India Parliamentary Group of Italian Parliament.
The Associazione Italia-India is a no-profit, private law and apolitical association exclusively supported by its members. The Association was born in December 2007 with a wider goals and a specific mission for itself: to establish a forum where the worlds of politics, business and culture have the opportunity to meet, discuss and promote the relations between the two countries.
Today the Associazione is one of the reference points for the relations between India and Italia, in order to facilitate contacts and strengthen mutual deep knowledge. It addresses institutions, business, research institutes and universities, as well as all those who simply intend to contribute to the dialogue and the Italy-India friendship. The Association revived in a crucial moment for the relations between Rome and New Delhi, and brings more India in Italy and more Italy in India in full compliance with its aim.
